REVIEW

Joy, 2019

Staged at the Rodin Museum, Philadelphia, PA.

Part of an ongoing series of interventions referred to as Bubblefields. These works are staged in a wide range of public settings: museums, business districts, parks and municipal architectures.

Joy (for Lumiere), 2018

Staged in the business district of downtown Los Angeles, CA.

Utilizing public infrastructures such as street lamps and traffic lights, bubble machines are covertly mounted. In this iteration the machines were turned on at three times, 6am - 10am, 11:30am - 2:30pm and from 4:30pm - 6pm. These intervals targeted this specific locations fluctuating activity; the ebb and flow of business people entering and exiting their place of work.
