Negotiation is a large-scale sculpture, installation and relational intervention. The work is comprised of a jigsaw puzzle cut from mirrored acrylic glass. Comprised of 1,400 individual pieces, the puzzle is designed to create an illusion of self-similarity: each individual piece appears identical while maintaining absolute functional difference. It has been installed in a variety of different institutional and environmental contexts, each presentation being unique and site-specific.
